Springfield Healthcare is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for Treatment of Disease, Disorder or Injury (TDDI).

Unlike many care providers across the UK, Springfield Healthcare holds the TDDI registration, regulated by CQC. This supports the complex medical needs of our customers in their own home, under the supervision of our Advanced Clinical Lead, Lucy Wambui.

A TDDI registration means that we are legally permitted and clinically equipped to handle sophisticated medical needs, to guarantee a higher standard of continuous and professional care for customers.

If you are managing a complex or progressive condition, a personalised TDDI care plan would be essential. Our expert, Nurse-led care covers an extensive range of treatments.

Springfield Healthcare offers highly specialised complex care services for individuals with significant and long-term health needs. Our expert team of carers are trained to support a wide range of conditions.

We work in close partnership with healthcare professionals and families to develop a bespoke care plan that is unique to the individual. This dedicated one-to-one support allows customers to receive hospital-level care in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.

Our goal is to empower customers to live with dignity and independence, ensuring their complex needs are met with the utmost professionalism and compassion. By choosing complex care at home, you can maintain your daily routines and stay connected with loved ones, in an environment that allows you to maintain your dignity and independence.

Leading with compassion, grounded in clinical excellence.

As Advanced Clinical Lead for Complex Care, Lucy provides strategic clinical leadership across Springfield Healthcare’s complex and community-based services. With over two decades of expertise in critical care, public health and clinical governance, Lucy brings extensive knowledge in delivering high-acuity care in both NHS and independent healthcare settings.

Lucy is passionate about empowering care teams through mentorship, training and continuous professional development, dedicated to ensuring individuals with long-term needs receive safe, evidence-based and compassionate care. She actively collaborates with commissioners, multidisciplinary teams and families to design and deliver holistic, person-centred care that upholds dignity, independence and quality of life.

Springfield were absolutely fabulous with my parents who both had dementia, my father had vascular dementia and went downhill quicker than my mother. They treated them with compassion and always had a smile and took the time to engage with them

It was a big step for me to accept I needed care and to do something about it. I am so glad I chose Springfield Healthcare as they were the company who put me at ease completely from the moment I rang them. The carers have transformed the quality of my life so much and lifted a huge weight from myself and my family.

All the staff at Springfield are lovely. Carers and managers have a can-do attitude, and enable me to live my life the way I see fit. The carers raise any concerns they may have very quickly which allows any issues to be resolved with the minimum of fuss! So glad that these lovely people have come into our lives.

My dad moved into this lovely home in October 2023 and he has settled in so well – the care, love and support that he receives from all the staff is great. He is able to choose how much interaction he accesses and the staff allow him to have a voice in every aspect of his care, which is important to him. He has said recently to visiting professionals that he loves his room and it is his home.
