A New Milestone for Springfield Healthcare in Yorkshire

The team at Springfield Healthcare in Hull is proud to announce a major milestone in community support, the branch has officially secured its Treatment of Disease, Disorder or Injury (TDDI) registration. This official status, granted by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), transforms the branch’s capabilities for delivering care in the area. While the Hull office serves as the central hub for this new registration, it empowers the team to deliver nurse-led complex care packages across the whole of Yorkshire.

This achievement follows the success of the Springfield Healthcare Newcastle team who recently gained TDDI registration for the North-East region. Together, these milestones mean that Springfield Healthcare is now fully equipped to deliver high-level, complex clinical care across both the North East and Yorkshire.

The registration allows Springfield to move beyond traditional home care to deliver specialist clinical intervention for individuals with significant health needs. This means individuals throughout the region can now receive “hospital-level” care, including advanced respiratory support, PEG feeding and neurological care, all within the comfort of their own homes.

“This registration is a significant step forward for our Hull branch and the wider Yorkshire region,” said Theresa Bradley-Comstive, Director of Home Care. “By securing TDDI status, we are not only expanding our clinical reach but also ensuring that families have access to the highest standard of complex care without having to leave their homes. It reflects the dedication of our teams to constantly evolve and meet the growing medical needs of the communities we serve.”

By bridging the gap between hospital and home, Springfield Healthcare is dedicated to reducing hospital readmissions and protecting the independence of the individuals they care for. This achievement reinforces their position as a leading provider of innovative, high-quality care in Yorkshire and the North East.
