We are delighted to announce the appointment of Theresa Bradley‑Comstive as Chief Operating Officer at Springfield Healthcare.

With over 20 years’ experience in care, 13 of those spent right here at Springfield, Theresa truly embodies the family values and people‑first approach that define our organisation.
A Career Built on Compassion
Theresa’s journey into care wasn’t shaped in a boardroom, it was inspired by family. From a young age, she supported her grandmother, an experience that introduced her to the importance of compassionate and thoughtful care. In later years, Theresa also took on an active unpaid caring role for her step‑father, further strengthening her understanding of what care truly means for individuals and their families.
These personal experiences have shaped Theresa’s approach to leadership. She doesn’t simply lead teams, she understands the realities of the role and the pressures that come with it. Having experienced care from the inside, Theresa leads with empathy and respect, ensuring her teams feel supported and valued as they deliver high‑quality care every day.
Theresa said: “I absolutely love being able to make a genuine difference in people’s lives. Over the years, I’ve built some fantastic relationships with colleagues and I take great pride in watching our people grow and develop. Care work is incredibly fulfilling and brings so much joy, but it can also be demanding. As a leader, I am committed to ensuring our teams have the support, training, education and opportunities they need to feel confident and cared for when they go out to work in the community.”

In her new role as Chief Operating Officer, Theresa will oversee our diverse service offerings across the Yorkshire and North-East region. Her focus remains on ensuring every member of the team has the training, education and emotional support they need to provide high-quality and compassionate care. Furthermore, Theresa will be instrumental in driving the expansion of our specialised services across Springfield, specifically scaling our live-in and complex care provisions to meet the growing needs of our community.
