The team at Springfield Healthcare Darlington has demonstrated the true spirit of community this season, raising an impressive £800 for PAPYRUS Prevention of Young Suicide.
The money was raised by the team who organised a Christmas party that brought staff and customers together for an afternoon of games, a tombola and a highly anticipated raffle. In a heart-warming display of generosity, all raffle prizes were donated by the Springfield Healthcare staff.
PAPYRUS is a national charity dedicated to breaking down the stigma surrounding suicide and promoting positive mental health among young people. Their vital work includes providing confidential support from their trained professionals who offer practical advice and a safe space for those struggling with thoughts of suicide or those concerned about a young person.
