On Thursday 12th June, Becky Fielder (Business Development Lead – Live In Care) and Sarah Railton (Care Supervisor) represented Springfield Healthcare, Hull, by attending Guild Hall for the Carers Marketplace event.
Becky said, “We were proud to attend this fantastic event which was dedicated to celebrating and informing unpaid carers about the wide range of support available to them. With 60 local services in attendance, it was a brilliant opportunity to connect with families and share resources to help ease the challenges of caring for a loved one.”
“We spent the day speaking with families about how we can support them with respite care options and other tailored services that have been designed to prevent carer burnout. Many carers that we spoke to were surprised to learn how flexible and accessible our support can be—especially when they need a break to rest and recharge.”
Events like this highlight the vital role unpaid carers play in our communities, and Springfield are passionate about making sure they don’t feel alone and that they know what help is available. Whether it’s a few hours a week or full-time live-in care, Springfield’s services are available to support both carers and the people they look after.
Thank you to everyone who made this event such a success. The team at Springfield look forward to continuing to work closely with local services and families to provide the care and support they deserve.
