We believe that helping someone with additional needs requires a special kind of care. Our friendly service provides high quality, reliable support with carers who are specially selected for their expertise and gentle approach. We provide a wide range of services designed to help with daily life, build skills and encourage independence. Our dedicated caregivers can assist with everything from personal care and assisting with morning and bedtime routines, to one-to-one school support, community engagement and overnight care.
Our services are operated from our main office on Usworth Road in Hartlepool and the surrounding areas. We also manage six self-contained apartments with convenient access to shopping, leisure, and community facilities.

We offer a warm and welcoming drop in service for adults, children and young people with additional or complex needs. Our experienced and compassionate staff provide a safe and stimulating environment where individuals can engage in a variety of activities, socialise with others and develop new skills.
We offer a range of activities to suit all interests, including arts and crafts, sensory play, outdoor and evening activities. We also provide support with personal care, medication and communication needs. Our goal is to help individuals reach their full potential and live fulfilling lives.

My dad moved into this lovely home in October 2023 and he has settled in so well – the care, love and support that he receives from all the staff is great. He is able to choose how much interaction he accesses and the staff allow him to have a voice in every aspect of his care, which is important to him. He has said recently to visiting professionals that he loves his room and it is his home.

Meet Rachael
Rachael Oliver is the registered manager for our Hartlepool Branch. Rachael’s career in care began at age 14, sparked by her experiences babysitting a young girl with Down’s Syndrome and caring for a lady who used a wheelchair.
This early passion led her on a diverse career path, holding roles from support worker and auxiliary nurse to registered social worker and project manager. Currently, as the manager of the Hartlepool branch, she oversees all operations, ensuring that top-quality care is delivered and staff are well-supported. For Rachael, the most rewarding part of her role is observing clients achieve their goals and develop, driven by her love for the people she works with.
