Theresa Bradley-Comstive

Theresa’s career in care was sparked at a young age, helping to look after her own grandmother. This passion for helping people led her to the British Nursing Association in 2004, where she started as an office administrator. Although Theresa initially worked as a community carer, she soon realised that she was better suited to the office side of life as she could never leave any of her customers! Over the years, she has held various roles, including Carer, Office Administrator, Co-Ordinator, Branch Manager, Registered Manager, Regional Manager, Operations Manager and Operations Director. Today, Theresa finds immense satisfaction in making a difference in people’s lives, supporting her teams and advocating for better opportunities within the care sector.

Joanna Putson

Joanna has worked in the Health and Social Care sector for over 15 years, she is passionate about ensuring that Springfield are always recruiting, developing and retaining the right carers who share our vision, our values and commitment to providing the very best care and support.

Hayley Stubbs

Hayley Stubbs is the Head of Finance for Springfield Healthcare.

Kelly Baird

From a young age, Kelly demonstrated a profound sense of care, first for her family and later professionally. She began her career supporting adults with learning disabilities, a field that remains close to her heart. After relocating and retraining in supported housing, Kelly was inspired to move into complex care, driven by a passion to help individuals with complex needs. Over the years, Kelly has held senior and management roles, eventually joining Springfield in 2017. As the Quality Assurance and Systems Compliance Manager, she is dedicated to ensuring excellent care quality, leveraging digital systems to achieve this.

Kellie Smith

Kellie’s career in care began after she completed a Level 2 qualification at college. She started working in residential care before transitioning to domiciliary care after maternity leave. In 2008, she joined Springfield Healthcare, where she has since progressed through various roles. Starting as a Care Coordinator, she has held positions as a Trainer, Training Manager, Service Manager, Registered Branch Manager and her current role as Operations Support Manager for Yorkshire. Her current role focuses on ensuring a high-quality service, embodying the company’s values and mentoring colleagues.

Catherine Leafe

Catherine began her career in care after struggling to find adequate support for a family member, which inspired her to found her own domiciliary care company in 2017. She spent over six years growing the company before moving on to her current role as Regional Operations Support Manager for the Nort- East at Springfield Healthcare. Catherine now focuses on helping the Springfield teams with quality and compliance through audits and mentorship. She finds the work deeply rewarding, especially knowing the positive impact high-quality care has on individuals and their families. For her, coaching and inspiring teams to provide their best work is the most fulfilling part of the job.

Sarah Paskett

Inspired by her grandmother and aunt who were both nurses, Sarah’s career in care began with volunteering at a hospice while still at school. After training in Leeds and working in NHS gynecology and cancer care, Sarah transitioned to social care where she found her true calling. She held various roles in care homes, from Nurse to Manager. Now, as Clinical Support Manager, Sarah ensures quality across multiple homes and commissions new facilities. Her favorite part of the job is making a difference in residents’ lives, mentoring staff to reach their full potential and being involved in research projects to enable better care and resources now and in the future.

Lucy Wambui Machari

Lucy Wambui is a highly accomplished Clinical Services Lead with over 25 years of diverse healthcare experience spanning Kenya and the UK. Her career began in Kenya, where she led vital maternal and child health initiatives as a Community Outreach Manager for the United Nations in Africa’s largest refugee camp. After relocating to the UK, Lucy spent over 15 years in NHS Intensive Care and 7 years in the independent sector. In her current role at Springfield Healthcare, Lucy champions person-centered complex care, overseeing clinical governance and multi-disciplinary collaboration. She is passionate about empowering people with complex needs to live safely and meaningfully at home, reducing hospital admissions and enabling families to regain confidence and independence.

Becky Fielder

Becky’s began her career in health and social care as a home Care Assistant in 2010, driven by a deep commitment to helping people. She progressed through roles as a care Coordinator and Manager, gaining extensive experience in both domiciliary and residential care. It was in residential care that her passion for live-in care was ignited, as she witnessed the transformative power of allowing people to remain in their own homes. Now in Business Development at Springfield Healthcare, Becky is proud to work for an organisation that genuinely puts people first, both customers and staff.

Maria Fryer

Maria started working at Springfield in 2015 as a Care Assistant, before progressing into the role as Care Coach, Supervisor, Co-Ordinator and Operations Team Leader before being promoted to the Registered Manager role in 2026.

Rachael Oliver

Rachael’s career in care began at age 14, sparked by her experiences babysitting a young girl with Down’s Syndrome and caring for a lady who used a wheelchair. This early passion led her on a diverse career path, holding roles from support worker and auxiliary nurse to registered social worker and project manager. Currently, as the manager of the Hartlepool branch, she oversees all operations, ensuring that top-quality care is delivered and staff are well-supported. For Rachael, the most rewarding part of her role is observing clients achieve their goals and develop, driven by her love for the people she works with.

Rachel Redmond

Rachel’s extensive career in care began in a forensic psychiatric setting, working for over a decade with adult males detained under the Mental Health Act. Seeking a change, she transitioned to general nursing on a Coronary Care Unit at Doncaster Royal Infirmary. During this time, her entrepreneurial spirit led her to co-found a community care provider. After seven successful years, she sold the company to focus on her daughter’s health. Following her daughter’s recovery, Rachel returned to community care, quickly advancing from a senior carer to Care Coordinator, Deputy Manager, and then Manager. Driven by her passion for encouraging independence and a desire for a new challenge, she joined Springfield, valuing the team’s unified, supportive goal and approachability.

Suzanne Rogers

Suzanne’s career in care began after being inspired by her sisters who both worked as carers at Springfield. Suzanne initially started in the ‘on-call’ role alongside doing bank work, before moving into the care co-ordinator role. After a couple of years in the care co-ordinator role, Suzanne progressed to the Service Manager role which she did for 4 years before becoming the Registered Manager for Springfield Healthcare Hull.

Victoria Watt

After joining Springfield Healthcare as a domiciliary care worker in 2010, Vicki advanced through various roles, including supervisor and development manager, now being Registered Manager at Springfield Leeds. She is passionate about delivering high-quality, personalised care that helps people remain in their homes. Vicki is fulfilled by working with her care teams and she believes their work makes a profound difference in the world.
